Refund and Withdrawal Policy

Last updated: 8 July 2026

This Refund and Withdrawal Policy governs subscription cancellation, withdrawal rights and refunds in connection with digital services and digital content offered through Tarotico.

1. Digital nature of the service

Tarotico provides digital content and digital services, including online interpretations, personalised digital interpretations composed with the assistance of a technological system, subscription access, interpretation packages, credits and other paid digital features.

2. Free trial

Tarotico may provide a three-day free trial through which the user may become familiar with the nature, functionality, content and operation of the platform before purchasing paid access.

The free trial may include reasonable technical or daily limitations, including limits on interpretations, spreads, requests or other actions, according to the conditions displayed on the website at activation.

3. Subscriptions and automatic renewal

If the user purchases a subscription with automatic renewal, the subscription renews for the relevant period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

The user may cancel an active subscription through the subscription cancellation function available in their user account, through the payment provider or by another method specified by Tarotico.

Cancelling a subscription stops future automatic renewals. Access to paid features usually remains active until the end of the current paid period. Cancellation does not automatically result in a refund of any amount already paid.

4. Interpretation packages and one-time purchases

Interpretation packages, credits, one-time interpretations and other one-time digital purchases are provided as digital access within the platform and are not physical products.

Unused interpretations, credits or one-time purchases are not refundable, exchangeable or payable in cash, except where required by applicable law or under the conditions expressly stated in this Policy.

5. Withdrawal right for digital services

Under applicable consumer law, a consumer may generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen days without giving a reason.

This right does not apply or is lost, to the extent permitted by applicable law, where the contract concerns digital content or a digital service whose performance has begun immediately after the user’s express prior consent and acknowledgement that they understand that by the start of performance they lose the right of withdrawal.

When purchasing a paid subscription, interpretation package, one-time interpretation or other paid digital service, the user confirms through a separate active action during checkout that they want the service to begin immediately after payment and that they understand that after performance begins they lose the right of withdrawal, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

6. Electronic withdrawal function

Where the user has a right of withdrawal under applicable law, this right may be exercised through the electronic withdrawal function available in the Tarotico interface or by contacting support@tarotico.com.

The availability of an electronic withdrawal function does not mean that every purchase is refundable. The right of withdrawal applies only where the conditions provided by applicable law are met.

If the right of withdrawal has been lost because the digital service or digital content started immediately after the user’s express consent and acknowledgement, the paid amount is not refundable unless applicable law provides otherwise.

7. Cases where amounts are not refunded

After the paid digital service has started, the paid amount is not refundable due to change of mind, dissatisfaction with the result, subjective assessment of the interpretation, non-use or partial use of the service, failure to cancel a subscription before renewal, lack of interest after purchase or use of the purchased access.

8. Cases where a refund may be made

A refund is made only where required by applicable law or in the event of confirmed double charging, an obvious billing error or a confirmed technical issue that prevented delivery of the purchased access or paid digital feature.

9. Technical issues

In case of a technical issue, the user should contact support@tarotico.com and provide account information, purchase type, payment date and a description of the issue. Where the issue is confirmed, Tarotico may provide renewed access, restore used credit, add credit or offer another reasonable solution.

10. Promotions and coupons

Promotions, coupons, discounts and special offers apply according to the terms displayed at activation or purchase. After a promotional period ends, a subscription may renew at the standard price shown on the website or during the purchase process.

11. Disputed payments

In case of a disputed payment, chargeback or failed payment, access to paid features may be temporarily restricted or terminated until the matter is clarified. Tarotico reserves the right to provide the payment provider with information necessary to handle the dispute.
