Description

She was the first female pharaoh in Ancient Egypt. The daughter of Thutmose I, Hatshepsut ruled for more than 20 years. She dressed in male clothing and wore the pharaonic beard. Despite the tremendous pressure she was under, she brought prosperity to her country.
