Nefertiti

Nefertiti

Description

In translation, the queen’s name means “the beauty that comes.” She was initially the wife of Amenhotep III, but after his death, she married his son Amenhotep IV—better known as Akhenaten, the heretic pharaoh—whom she inspired with her intelligence and charm. Nefertiti gave birth to six daughters with him. One of them became the wife of Tutankhamun.
